The winners of the 28th Annual Communicator Awards have officially been announced by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. RackTop’s video series, It’s Your Data, won three Communicator Awards of Excellence in the following categories:
- Branded entertainment – commercials
- Integrated campaign – business-to-business
- Online video – web series
Produced by Shine Creative and starring Seth Adam Kallick as Data, the series continues to illustrate some of the most complex modern cyber problems facing organizations today in amusing and relatable ways. Volume 3 covers issues like patient data getting exploited by ransomware with outrageous bitcoin demands (though the price has come down since then!), an example of what could go wrong with lax security measures, the curious connectivity of modern-day cyber threats and submarines, and the inherent flaw with the most common ransomware recovery strategy.
With over 4,000 entries received from across the US and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals.
