RackTop Systems was founded in 2010 by U.S. Intelligence Community veterans who experienced the data protection gap firsthand. We built BrickStor SP to solve it — creating the world's first Cyberstorage platform.
Built by people who lived the problem
RackTop's founders — Eric Bednash and Jonathan Halstuch — spent years working in the U.S. Intelligence Community, where protecting sensitive data isn't optional and failure has real consequences. They saw firsthand that storage infrastructure was a blind spot in cybersecurity architectures.
Traditional storage platforms were built for performance and availability. Security was someone else's problem — handled by firewalls, endpoint tools, and backup systems. But modern attacks target the data itself, and by the time perimeter defenses fail, it's already too late.
RackTop was founded to close that gap — to build storage that actively defends the data it holds.
