BrickStor SP hardware options
BrickStor 5102 and 5112 controllers, a dedicated 1U Management Node, and small- and large-form-factor enclosures — engineered for enterprise NAS, federal mission, and tactical-edge deployments. All TAA-compliant; FIPS drive options across every form factor.
Two controller models, one management node
BrickStor 5102 and 5112 are 1U rack-mount Cyberstorage controllers. The Management Node is a dedicated 1U appliance for Hub Central and platform management.

All BrickStor 5xxx controllers and the Management Node use the same 1U rack-mount form factor.
Standard on every BrickStor 5xxx controller
- 1U Rack Mount Controllers
- 1.6TB NVMe Mirrored Boot (HW Encrypted)
- TPM 2.0v3
- Lights Out Remote Management
- 10 / 25 / 100 Gb Ethernet options for data

Which controller should you choose?
Controller choice is driven by system scale and concurrent activity, not raw capacity. The 5112 carries more CPU cores to sustain more concurrent sessions and file operations, and ships with more RAM for a larger starting cache.
Choose the 5102 if:
- Your concurrent workload is moderate
- You are capacity-heavy but activity-light. Even a multi-petabyte system with modest activity runs comfortably on it
Choose the 5112 if:
- You expect high session counts or heavy mixed operations
- Your hot working set is large enough to benefit from the bigger cache
A RackTop architect can size it precisely from your user counts and workload profile.
Small and large form factor enclosures
All enclosures connect to BrickStor controllers via SAS, with optional iSCSI / FC for extended topologies.
