How does vBOX overcome the top VDI challenges?
Storage Architecture -VDI requires very high IOPS and extremely biased Random Writes during normal steady state operations vBOX delivers extreme IO performance and without the extreme cost. Where a typical hard drive in a desktop only delivers 150 IOPS, vBOX delivers a minimum of 500 IOPS per virtual desktop. This means vBOX can handle the ration of 95-5 random reads to writes during bootup and the swing to 20 to 80 random reads to writes during steady state. Unlike other VDI solutions, you don’t have to make any costly upgrades to your existing SAN. RackTop vBOX comes complete with its own high-performance virtual SAN which delivers screaming performance, while seamlessly connecting to your existing SAN for bulk data storage.
